Eng. Ayman A. AI-Ghamdi

Eng. Ayman AlGhamdi is the Vice President of Human Resources at SGS since January 2019, leading SGS HR teams in a business with around 10,000 employees working in 28 locations across Saudi Arabia. He is known for being performance-driven, a problem-solver, and a change champion, with more than fifteen years of diversified experiences gained from working at big multinational companies such as Savola Group, Procter & Gamble, SABIC and others. By working in different industries in global and local environments, including aviation, FMCG, manufacturing, and petrochemicals, Ayman managed to build a strong business acumen and diverse HR knowledge.

As an executive leader, he always managed to create mega-scale transformations in the way HR performs in highly complex environments while building high performing teams and a performance driven culture in big organizations.

Ayman holds a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from King Abdul-Aziz University, along with an MBA from the Open University of Malaysia and has attended several executive leadership development programs at INSEAD Business School, DUKE University and others, as well as being a senior certified HR professional by SHRM. Combining the engineering background, field and operational experience along with business leadership roles contributed to making him experienced in aligning HR systems with business strategy and requirements while shaping the right organizational culture. Ayman is passionate about developing Saudi youth, supporting diversity, driving HR digital transformation and applying organizational knowledge to deliver exceptional results.
